Dundee Downtown Visioning, Land Development Code Update, and Technical Standards Manual

Over the last four years, the Town of Dundee has adopted a Downtown Visioning Plan, drafted a Land Development Code update, and started the development of a draft Engineering and Technical Standards Manual. The downtown strategic visioning and planning process for the Downtown Area of Dundee provided a unified direction in promoting economic development and achieving the community’s goals for the Town’s future. Polk-County-logoPolk County Local Mitigation Strategy (LMS)

On August 18, 2015, the Polk County Board of County Commissioners adopted the County’s designated portion of the Polk County Multi-jurisdictional Local Mitigation Strategy. The 17 municipalities in the County also adopted the plan. The required 5-year review and update of the Polk County Multi-Jurisdictional Local Mitigation Strategy (LMS) won a 2016 National Association of Development Organization (NADO) innovation Award.
